PC Tattletale Confirms Teen Drug Use

in Internet Monitoring

I had sent my son away at 16 to a military program. This was in the hopes of straightning him out. When I would go visit him every couple of months, we would have parenting classes, so we could be successful when our boys came home.

One of the classes was on monitoring your kids on computers, phones movies and T.V. They gave a few different suggestions on how to monitor your kids internet use. One of the parents had used PCTattletale.com. She was happy with it. I installed it when my son came home.

I installed it because I believe you need to know what your kids are doing, but I also think it needs to be used cautiously. I think that you do not need to know every thought that he has. Sometimes kids are just talking.

I have decided to use it only when he is staying away from home or if he is acting different. I log in and it tells me what has been happening leading up to the night away or strange behavior.

Well the first time my son stayed the night away, I used it.

Because PC Tattletale had caught his password for his my space, I was able to access it the next morning. I found out my son had gotten high with a church friend and had gotten the stuff from my older daughter.

I didn’t want him to know where I got the information, so when he got home I had a store bought drug test waiting on the table. He ended up confessing. Still to this day he has no idea how I found out.
