“We gave my niece a computer (netbook) for her birthday but I did not want her on My Space but just she had lied to us before so I desided to put a program on it so I can see what she was doing.

You can see everything they are doing. It copies im’s and all website they put in the url or google. PC tattletale is very easy to use and I like that you can hide the program even on the admin computer.

While my niece was at her mothers I put PC tattletale on her computer it was very easy the only thing I wanted to see was if she was on My Space.

Well when she came home got on the computer, I checked my email and there was the alert telling me she was on myspace. It captured her username and password and the Im’s and emails she was sending and recieving.

“The reason I choose to monitor my home computer was because, I noticed my 14 year old son would quickly close windows when I would come into the room or turn off the monitor.

I would highly recommend this service. I love the fact that, I have all my sons passwords, turn by turn steps he takes to each website.., conversations from emails, screen shots of every things he’s looked at etc….

I found that not only was my young son getting into pornography but, he was being encouraged to join a gang and even found out about fights that were to take place which was secretly turned into his school police.

Also, I have been able to turn in a predator that was acting like a Godly person who was pretending to counsel one of my sons.  I contacted the church he allegedly went to. It was to no surprise that he was not a member of that church.

I was able to do a reverse phone lookup with the number he gave my son and found his address. The young man ended up being an adult male.. Unfortuately, the police didn’t do anything but monitor this man because there was no inicident.”

“I took over custody of a badly neglected teen with little internet experience, I was concerned that she may use the internet for inappropriate contact and I felt it was necessary to monitor that to prevent issues.

I would absolutely recommend the software.  You never truely know what your child is doing online unless you have this software.  I found inappropriate “chat” conversations and found that my child was talking with boys from all over the country that she did not know.

This software opened the door to conversations that I have had with my teen about what is and is not ok to do and say on the internet.

My child knows that our PC is monitored, she did not like it at first but it has prevented her from having conversations that she would have otherwise had.

I told my teen that we were installing the PC Tattletale software for two reasons: 1-  to take away the thought that I was “spying” on her, and 2. to make her think twice before she types things to her friends and boys.  This software has achieve that.

I believe that when a child is sitting behind a computer in their home, they are more willing to divulge information and say inappropriate things that would not get said face to face with someone, I was afraid that my teenager was very open online and this software has made her think before she types because she knows that I will see it.

If you have a child (any age child) on the computer, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!

This software is the only way to really KNOW what they are doing.

” I Found sex chat room logs on my daughter’s computer. She thought she was talking to young boys. She posted her picture and was close to giving out more personal information.

PC Tattletale gives me a piece of mind knowing that I can keep an eye on her and get a “heads up” before something happens. You have to be proactive not reactive these days.

I use all kinds of software in my home theater business. It’s easy for me to use them because I am a pro but my customers have to hire me because most products today are not user friendly.

This soft ware is stupid simple to use. Guys don’t read manuals and this is one program most won’t have to. I should have don’t this sooner.

I like the visual cues. People like Bose for the same reason. Easy to follow and understand. Don’t get away from that. Everyone else has.

“My son was bringing friends home that seem shaddy/dubious. The conversations between my child and his friends made me question what activities they were engaged in. I noticed they were often times hiding things on the computer when I would walk into the room. Plus, his computer was often crashing because of programs he was downloading or websites he was visiting.

So PC Tattletale was a good monitoring device for computer crashes. Because of PCTattletale I am able to monitor chats (actual word-for-word chats), websites, and programs being ran on our PC. I could monitor what he was downloading and could easily fix the program, or block the website.

I recommend this software because its good, very easy to use, shows every thing, and is accurate.

Its helped our family because I its nice to have the information to support my fears and suspicions. I discovered the activities my child was involved in and was able to be more proactive with how we deal with him. In some cases we’ve been able to prevent him from making bad choices him and in other cases were able to get extra help (like taking drugs).

It also helped serve as a diagnostic tool when our computer crashed. So that saved us lots of headaches when trying to rebuild our computer. I’ve tried a couple other parent control programs such as Net Nanny and none of them offered the easy to use interface that PC Tattletale does. Net Nanny was complicated and the reports were difficult to save and print. Plus many of them don’t offer chat monitoring.

Being able to monitor chats are crucial to knowing what my son is doing or talking to other kids about. Chat rooms are where alot of conversations take place that show what my child is thinking about, talking about, activities he’s thinking of doing, etc.

Its nice to have the affirmation PC Tattletale provides by knowing not just suspecting what my child is doing.”

I would recommend it (PC Tattletale) because it is a great way of monitoring if they are chatting to inappropriate people. I  learnt if children where accessing inappropriate websites, ehat kind of material they were accessing, and if they are chatting to any suspicious people.

“There were unusual numbers had called on her (my daughters) cell phone from Missouri, Texas, New Jersey and alot of her time was spent on My Space. When I would enter her room, she would close the window for My Space.

I was totally amazed with the information I was given (by PC Tattletale) and even obtained sign in passwords for people she was communicating with.

It really does show every chat and activity for the entire time she is online which is truly awesome especially when your teenager is so elusive.

I actually learned that she is talking to bi-sexual females which is something she never would have told me otherwise.
